So we're at the part my order will not fit into a large flat priority box as I requested and referenced numerous times in this order process. I've accepted the mistake and was okay with a bigger order since I really thought at the time it was an innocent mistake and honestly, I was really looking forward to getting that wax! Here is the continuation:

As I mentionned before, I am used to ordering big so large amounts don't phase me much. However, I didn't expect it to be quite this high since I didn't expect to pay more than 40ish dollars on shipping.

I also found it quite unprofessional of Vickie to give a total without any type of invoice or break down of said amount.

So I asked for it and got it.

It did add up right for what I ordered but I was dissapointed there was no discount on the shipping difference at the very least for her not choosing the right box after clear requests for what I wanted which she had agreed to.

But I let it go figuring it will finally be shipped out to me! yay!

And as you can see, we remained chatty chatty throughout all this.

Here is where the excuses start with my package being mailed out. Starts out small.

I never ever received any tracking information about the package that was sent out for me.

Ahhh, my package is finally mailed out on August 2nd according to Vickie, note she said she had her daughter mail it off for her. So it was brought to a PO!

Very interesting. Still no tracking number though, hmmmm.

I don't hear from Vickie in quite a while as you can see from the dates. She's not wondering if I'm okay anymore :(

Then this...

We finish off this installment with interesting words from Vickie. Of course nothing broke since IT HAD NEVER BEEN SHIPPED OUT TO ME!!! LOL!!!

The second thing that makes me laugh now is her comment on how SHE PACKED IT REALLY WELL!

Considering the 3 items that were smashed when I finally received my order because she apparently thinks that nothing more than cello bags is fine for packaging fragile glass items! Reading this is quite a hoot when I dug up this entire convo!

Stay tuned there is quite a bit more yet to come.

Here is the continuation of my dialogue with Vickie. There is some chit chat and talk about my order in this installment but interesting tidbits start coming out as it goes on. She has a super cute little dog and I honestly enjoyed chatting with her.

Aren't I such an awful person??! Giving her honest answers and helping her with tips to avoid getting scammed. I really need help... Uh oh, I just can't help myself!

Wait a second??? She confirmed in a prior message that she HAD a large flat rate box so why is she asking if it's the same size as a regional sized one??? This pretty much tipped me off that she had never checked the dimensions of the large flat rate box and most likely she never checked once to see if my order would actually fit in one...

At this point I felt a bit cornered as I did ask for the things she made for me. I was a bit frustrated that she allowed it to go above the large flat rate box but since we were FB pals and I was looking forward to her wax, it wasn't a big thing for me at the time. I tend to always order big with my wax orders so this wouldn't be out of the ordinary for me, as can be seen by the second large order I placed with Vickie and other past purchases with different vendors.

Later on, a bit of chit chat about dogs, hers is indeed pretty darn cute!

Back to talking about my order, yay!

Why is there still a debate about the large flat rate box??????? I expected it but still... At least she now has it! Yay!
Ugh... What happened to the large flat rate box again??? Here we go...

Bingo! Proof positive she never once checked if my order fit in that box ever before this moment.

At the time I kinda saw it coming and as I mentionned above, it wasn't a big issue because I didn't think she did this on purpose. I thought she just got hyped up as I did about my order and had a hard time saying no and with the slew of orders she was dealing with I figured it was an oversight, albeit a frustrating one.

I'm pissed about it like hell looking back on it because with all the other excuses and lies combined I don't think it was a casual error as I had first assumed.

Vickie as of the moment I am writing this blog entry denies upselling me anything and that I did not request a large flat rate box! o.O!

How she can say this with a straight face is mind boggling!

Stay tuned for the next installment of this saga.

This entry is pretty tame but I am including every single message exchanged because I have absolutely nothing to hide.

So there you have it, part two of my exchanges with Vickie. As you can see, I'm a terribly difficult client that makes outlandish requests lol. There are still references to filling up my box, not ever a reference to a box other than the large flat rate that I requested.

I did get excited and placed a second order. She mentionned my first was shipping out very soon and I am admittedly a wax junkie that spends way too much on this stuff! ;) At this point, I did not have any reason to worry as everything had seemed on the up and up.

Stay tuned for part 3!

Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6

I have unfortunately experienced a lot of issues with my order from VDC. Sadly, Victoria Walk, the owner/operator of Victoria’s Designer Creations does not stand behind her products and packaging. At this point, all I wanted was to have the broken items I received refunded. She in turn prefers all details being published publicly instead of making her mistakes right. So here we are.

A quick summary of what I experienced:

- Was oversold on products (I specifically requested on many occasions to fill a large flat rate priority mail box which she accepted. I ended up with a box more than twice these dimensions).

- Being repeatedly lied to and/or being given many excuses in regards to her delays or other failings.

- Receiving products that were broken due to a complete lack of proper packaging.

- Refusal to replace or refund said broken items.

- Continual lies about this situation to this day.

Without further ado, here is the beginning of our exchange:

It is obvious from almost the very beginning that I clearly requested using a large flat rate priority box. This was referenced in my messages above from June 7th @ 9:34pm, June 8th @ 8:25am AND July 5th @ 11:09pm.

Yet Vickie still maintains as of November 29th 2012 (our last communication) that things just didn't happen this way...

Stay tuned for more! This is maybe the first 5% of what is to come. We're only scratching the surface here!
